“Mike”, Zakonni president and CEO, has been a practicing attorney and successful businessman for over twenty years. Mike is a gifted creator of business systems, which have helped him to build a successful law practice and to become a multimillionaire. His office systems for practicing social security disability law helped lead to the creation and copyright of the Legal Memo and progeny made available now through Zakonni to all lawyers, firms and representatives.

Mike has been helping the disabled obtain social security disability benefits since 1992. He received his undergraduate degree at Princeton University and was graduated with honors from Florida State University School of Law. Mike has been admitted to the Florida and Washington state bars, as well as various state and federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court. Mike is the founder and a senior partner of Mike Murburg, PA.

Carol, vice president and CFO, brings her twenty-nine years of practicing law as well as her writing talents to Zakonni. She was an editor for the Villanova Law Review while in law school and has written hundreds of appellate briefs. Carol has spent most of her legal career helping to empower the powerless and sees Zakonni as another means of doing this.

Carol handled her first social security disability case in 1982, while supervising law students at Temple University School of Law. Carol was graduated from Brown University in 1976, and from Villanova University School of Law in 1979. She has been admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and Florida and in various state and federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court. She is a senior partner at MMPA.

When not practicing law or raising her three children, Carol is happiest eploring the backstreets of a foreign country or attempting to speak and read the native language. She is also fluent in several languages and enjoys painting with watercolor and acrylics on paper.
